I’ve been using the IFB 9kg Executive SXN 9014K washing machine for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! Update Aftr 9 Months: The MOST EXPENSIVE, THE MOST EXPENSIVE MAINTENANCE & MOST INEFFICIENT WASHING!
I have purchased this washing machine from Amazon a week back.. The IFB executives came for installation after three days.. And they told us about the machine features.. They didn’t perform a wash in front of us.. So, we told them that we will try it once and let them know if anything is needed to be asked/discussed..Now I have used this machine and the problem is that the clothes are still very wet after the wash.. Similar to that in semi automatic machines.. So I wanted to discuss that with them.. I called those executives, but, no one has responded yet!Very poor after sales service from IFB.. Even after purchasing the top end model..AVOID!Update : They eventually came.. After a couple of days.. Have been using this machine for a couple of months now.. Apart from the fact that the hard stains don’t come off easily and the machine vibrates and makes moderate noise when spinning clothes for drying, it is working satisfactorily!Update after 9 months of use: PLEASE AVOID THIS MACHINE & IFB per se.. It has been less than 9 months since usage and the Metal Drum has already rusted! (Pic attached)Called IFB Customer care and the executive they sent, changed the entire drum and has said that the filter has also malfunctioned!!.. Now wants additional 2000 rupees for the filter, and says that in India, where there’s hard water, you need to install additional filters every 6-8 months!!I’m like then, why, buy this machine, with a metal drum which gets rusted within a year & needs to be bought out of warranty, and you can’t even prevent it from rusting because apparently the filters for water softening don’t work for more than 6 months!!! And hence you need an annual extra money of about 10000 to pay for its mantainence..DON’T BUY UNLESS YOU ARE A BILLIONARE!!

IFB Product is good, but when the installation person came, he will sell you everything except clothes like stand cost 2100, descal cost 250, liquid detergent, water softener cost 1800, cover cost 900 , extended warranty cost 3500, etc. so please be prepared for extra expenses. Also for 1 cycle of mixed clothes it takes around 90 – 110 minutes. So be prepared with this time.
